How to use the AGI Discussion Forum

Replying to a current discussion
To reply to a current discussion, hit the "Reply" button located on the right-hand side of each topic in that discussion.* Use the message field on the following page to write out your desired topic. When you have completed your message hit the "Reply to Topic" button. Your message will now be posted at the bottom of the discussion.

Creating a new discussion topic
To create a new discussion or ask a new question, enter the forum which best relates to your new discussion or question. An example of a forum is "Licensing." Within the forum, hit the "New Discussion" link located just above the list of current discussions. The "Topic Title" field should contain the topic of your new discussion. Use the "Message" field to post the statement or question on the topic. When you have completed your message, hit the "Post New Discussion" button. Your new discussion will now be posted within the forum.

Subscribing to discussion topics
If you would like to be automatically alerted when a new post is made to a particular topic, you can subscribe to that discussion topic. From within the discussion, hit the "Subscribe" link located at the top of the discussion.* Each time a subsequent post is made to that discussion, you will be alerted via e-mail. If you wish to unsubscribe to a discussion, simply hit the “Unsubscribe” link located next to the "Subscribe" link.

These same steps can be followed to subscribe to an entire forum. For example, if you wish to be alerted any time a new post is made to the Licensing forum, simply hit the "Subscribe" link located on the forum page above the list of discussion topics.

You can see a list of your subscribed topics by clicking the link at the top of the main AGI Discussion Forum page labeled "View your subscribed topics."

*Please note you will need to be logged-in to www.adn.com to complete this step.
