Description:

The Java version of AGI Components.

Complete set of low-level libraries which include astrodynamics and spatial analysis for building applications that are:
  • Scalable
  • Multi-threaded
  • Suitable for thick-client, thin-client or server deployment
  • Cross-platform compatible (Windows, UNIX, Linux, Solaris)
  • Integrated with service-oriented architectures (SOA)
  • Suitable for "internationalization"

NOTE: The .Net version of AGI Components is available here.

The AGI Components for Java SDK install requires either a free development kit license key or a runtime license key (named user or enterprise server) to run. If you do not have a key and would like to use the free development kit, click here.

Note: if you already have a valid license key then you can skip this step.

Current libraries available within this SDK install:

System Requirements:

This release was tested on the following operating systems:
  • Windows XP
  • Windows Vista
  • Windows 7
  • Windows Server 2003
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux
  • openSUSE
  • Solaris SPARC
  • OpenSolaris x86

Other operating systems that are able to run the required version of Java are extremely likely to work as well.

AGI Components fully supports 64-bit computing. On a 64-bit operating system, AGI Components can be used in either a 32-bit or 64-bit virtual machine.

Applications using AGI Components can be developed using any Java IDE of your choice. The provided sample applications include project files for Eclipse 3.5.

How to Use:
  • Unzip the file
  • Add the AGI Components jars to your project
  • Attach the Javadoc to the AGI Components jars
  • Add the license file to the root level of your application's classpath (if you do not have a license key then you can request a free one from ADN or contact support)
  • Refer to documentation for help getting started.

  • When you agree to this Software License Agreement, you agree that only you will use the software that you download. This is referred to as a "named user license."
  • In compliance with U.S. Export Control Regulations and Laws, you may not redistribute AGI Components or an AGI Component application to Cuba, Iran, Sudan, Syria, and North Korea.
