The .NET version of AGI Components.

NOTE: The Java version of AGI Components is available here.

The AGI Components for .NET SDK requires either a free development kit license key or a runtime license key (named user or enterprise server) to run. If you do not have a key and would like to use the free development kit, click here.

Note: if you already have a valid license key then you can skip this step.

System Requirements:

AGI Components requires v2.0 (or later) of the Microsoft .NET Framework.

The following operating systems are explicitly supported when running Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0, 3.0, or 3.5:

Windows XP
Windows Vista
Windows Server 2003
Windows Server 2008

Other Windows operating systems that are able to run the required version of .NET are extremely likely to work as well.

Most of AGI Components fully supports 64-bit computing. On a 64-bit operating system, AGI Components can be used in either a 32-bit or 64-bit process. However, the following assemblies are currently ONLY supported in a 32-bit process:

AGI.Foundation.Graphics.dll - Insight3D

Run the install.exe file by double clicking
Click "Start Installation" (ensure "AGI Components check box is checked)
Follow remaining install instructions
Add license key to assemblies installation directory (if you do not have a license key then you can request a free one from ADN or contact support)
Refer to documentation for help getting started.

been a while since I have looked into AGI and the latest virsion looks to be even more flexible then before.

We provide the AGI Components Software Development Kit free of charge while you are evaluating its appropriateness for your applications.
You may use the Software Development Kit for the purpose of your individual research, development, and demonstration of a prototype application. This does not include corporate testing on a pre-production or pre-deployment scale. Those uses are supported by the rights granted to purchased runtime licenses.
At the point that you decide to build applications for production testing, for others to use, for use on funded research, for deployment in corporate or operational environments, or for commercial resale, you must purchase the appropriate run-time licenses as described in the license agreement.
You may not distribute, license, lease, sell, transfer any of the AGI Components without the appropriate commercial license granted by AGI or other expressly granted permission by AGI.
You may not reverse assemble, reverse compile, translate or perform any other actions that violate standard software usage piracy laws.
When you agree to this Software License Agreement, you agree that only you will use the software that you download. This is referred to as a "named user license."
In compliance with U.S. Export Control Regulations and Laws, you may not redistribute AGI Components or an AGI Component application to Cuba, Iran, Sudan, Syria, and North Korea.
